Bayless

Gerald Alan Bayless, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.

Gerald was born on April 25, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Irvin and Caroline Bayless.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion Post 243 and the French and Belgium Club in Butler.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen Bayless; four sons, Tim (Kelly) Crawford, Irvin Bayless, Sean Bayless and Scott (Heather) Bayless; and one daughter, ToniAnne (Ron) Selfridge; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Karen Sychak and Clarissa Porter; and numerous nieces, nephews and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Dana Opperman; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Selfridge.

Memorial service will be private.
