The Summer Steam Show in Portersville ran from Thursday to Sunday at the Portersville Show Grounds. Along with a plethora of antique vehicles, oil field equipment, saw sharpening and a train show, the event featured a flea market, threshing and bailing, transfer sled pulls in different weight classes, square dancing, pedal tractor pulls for ages 3 to 12, a “King of the Mountain” weigh-in, a church service, garden tractor pulls, a Chinese auction, and plenty of food — including Amish doughnuts, popcorn, sandwiches and more.
