Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Camp Redwing, its 123-acre camp along Connoquenessing Creek in Renfrew, with a celebration Saturday, Aug 12.

The daylong event includes camp games and stories, a singalong, a historical tour, vendors, water activities at the splash pad and pool, a catered dinner and a traditional campfire for generations of Scouts.

The event is open to the public and provides the opportunity to explore the camp property, cook and sing around a campfire and receive a special-edition Camp Redwing 100 patch.
