Margaret Anna (Dorrier) Bartholovic, 105, of Hampton Township and Mars, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023.

Born Oct. 2, 1917, in Sharps Hill, she was the daughter of the late Andrew William and Jessie Frances (Stickney) Dorrier.

Margaret was a ward secretary with Vincentian Home. During World War II, to do her part in the war efforts, she worked in a defense plant making fins for bombs in Millvale.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Cashdollar; granddaughter, Cindy (Tom) Flanagan; grandson, Dewey (Angela) Higley; step-grandson, John “Skip” (Sherry) Cashdollar; step-granddaughter, Doris A. Hartzell; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Janelle, Shauna and Grace; and sister, Julia Woessner.

In addition to her parents and five brothers, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph J. Bartholovic, who passed away in December 1962.

The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, especially Nadine, Sarah and Pastor Duane, as well as the staff at Concordia in Wexford.

BARTHOLOVIC — The family of Margaret Anna Bartholovic, who died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Peter DeVries officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, PA 16046.

She will be laid to rest at Hampton Cemetery in Allison Park.
