Frank V. Olexsak, 75, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

He was born Sept. 6, 1947, in Butler, a son of the late Frank P. Olexsak and Rose (Medwid) Olexsak.

Frank was retired from the Armco Steel plant in Butler, after working there about 30 years. He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old movies, assembling model ships and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid coin collector, car collector and Mopar fan.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army Infantry Division.

Surviving are his brothers, Richard Olexsak of Butler and David (Karen) Olexsak of North Washington; his nieces, Christine (Jeff) Olson and Erica (Cody) Blake; a nephew, Philip Olexsak; great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison, Colton, Cullen, Dustin, Kasey and Addison; and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Olexsak.

OLEXSAK — Private services and burial for Frank V. Olexsak, who died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, were held for his family. Arrangements are by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
