Margaret Rose Carly, 71, of Boyers, passed away the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023.

Born on June 3, 1952, in Clarksburg W.Va., Margaret was the daughter of Margaret Jean Lucas and the late Frank John Lucas.

She was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243, Cherry Valley VFW 7840 and the Moose in West Virginia. She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint and hunting.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Rickey W. Carly, whom she married on Sept. 2, 1972; her mother, Margaret Jean Lucas, of South Carolina; one daughter, Summerlee (Jeremy) Garber, of South Carolina; one son, John (Savannah) Carly, of Ohio; and four grandchildren, Orion, Beckham, Xander and Mika. She is also survived by four sisters, Stephanie, Nancy, Jane and Judy; three brothers, Frank, John and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father.
