Two crashes reported on Branchton Road Saturday
Branchton Road was the scene of two vehicle accidents on Saturday, Aug. 26.
Both crashes, which occurred roughly 10 hours apart, each involved a single vehicle, according to dispatch.
At least one person was taken to a hospital by ambulance early Saturday morning following a Slippery Rock Township crash at the intersection of Branchton and Franklin roads, dispatch said. The crash was reported shortly after midnight.
Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team and ambulance services responded to the call. Units were on the scene for approximately an hour.
Around 10:13 a.m. on Saturday, a motorcyle accident occurred on Branchton Road in Washington Township.
One person was involved in the crash, according to dispatch. The driver of the motorcycle was not transported to the hospital, dispatch said.
Eau Claire Volunteer Fire Department, North Washington Volunteer Fire Department, Karns City Regional Ambulance and state police were among the departments to respond to the call.
