Adams Twp road closed for 4 hours following crash
ADAMS TWP — A portion of Mars-Evans City Road was closed for several hours following a crash Wednesday night, Aug. 30, between a pickup truck and a motorcycle that sent two to the hospital.
The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mars-Evans City and Marburger roads in Adams Township.
Crews closed the road between 1424 Mars-Evans City Road and its intersection with Lynwood Drive until 1:18 a.m. Thursday, according to a Facebook post from Callery Volunteer Fire Company.
Adams Township police Sgt. Aaron Zaliponi said Wednesday night that the crash is still under investigation.
Adams Township Police, Mars Borough Police, Evans City-Seven Fields Regional Police Department, Adams Area Fire District, Callery Volunteer Fire Company and Quality EMS were among the departments to respond to the scene.
