Graduate: Vincenzia Vargo
Vincenzia Vargo received a Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering with a minor in chemistry and a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering. She is now enrolled as a first-year student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she is pursuing a career as a medical doctor in obstetrics and gynecology.
Vincenzia graduated summa cum laude in April. She conducted research on women’s health during high school and college, and a research paper in which she is first author is being reviewed for publication in a medical journal.
Vincenzia is a 2019 graduate of Mars Area High School. She lives in Adams Township.
She is the daughter of Anthony Vargo and Carmelina Palumbo-Vargo of Adams Township.
