Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

Aug. 28 — Adam D. Dunkle, 42, of Butler, and Kristopher M. Steighner, 42, of West Sunbury, were charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said suspected crack cocaine and heroin were found in their vehicle.

Aug. 28 — Edward C. Fink, 37, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with felony eluding police, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and several traffic citations. Police said he did not yield for a traffic stop on his motorcycle.

Aug. 25 — Jonathan J. Dillingham, 31, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft and summary harassment. Police said he took a cellphone and key fob valued at $1,259.

Butler Twp

Aug. 28 — William J. Derrick, 42, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors fraud, theft, use and possession of drug paraphernalia an several traffic citations. Police said his vehicle displayed false registration, he’d left Walmart without paying for merchandise and was found in possession of suspected fentanyl.

Aug. 23 — Benjamin J. Coghe, 29, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Gaiser Addiction Center with someone’s backpack.

Mars

Aug. 25 — Patricia A. George, 77, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence after she crashed her vehicle on Pittsburgh Street. Police said a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.103%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Office of the State Inspector General

Aug. 28 — Chelsey L. Schlagel, 28, of Beaver Falls, was charged with misdemeanor food stamps fraud. Police said she fraudulently received $561 in benefits.

Slippery Rock

Aug. 22 — Nikki Schonken, 21, of Grove City, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her on North Main Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.176%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock University

Aug. 23 — Robert P. Kummer, 53, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he crashed his vehicle on Main Street and did not leave any information.

State police, Butler

Aug. 29 — Brandyn L. Gutauskas, 30, of Lyndora, was charged with felony access device fraud and misdemeanor theft. Police said she used someone’s credit card without permission.

Aug. 29 — Daniel A. Nicolard, 39, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after he crashed his vehicle on Interstate 79, Worth Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.163%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Aug. 28 — Aaron M. Goshay, 18, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felonies fleeing police and theft and misdemeanors reckless endangerment and DUI after police stopped him in Middlesex Township. Police said Goshay refused to yield to a traffic stop and demonstrated signs of impairment.

Aug. 28 — Thomas M. Scherder Jr., 28, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats and simple assault. Police said he threatened to cut someone with a chainsaw and chased them around with it.

Aug. 28 — Michael R. Sopo, 51, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after he crashed his vehicle on Beaver Dam Road, Clay Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment.

Aug. 28 — Max G. Aubrect, 24, of Mars, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Route 228, Middlesex Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.117%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Aug. 28 — Zachary M. Young, 22, of Butler, was charged with felonies prohibited possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a license and theft. Police said he was found with a gun that did not belong to him.

Aug. 23 — Kaitlyn A. Dempsey, 34, of Evans City, was charged with five misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said she was found with suspected heroin, pills, smoking devices, marijuana and used THC cartridges.

Aug. 23 — Karen E. McAfee, 69, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors false alarm and obstructing emergency services. Police said she requested EMS multiple times and then refused medical attention upon their arrival.

State police, Gibsonia Turnpike

Aug. 31 — Miles J. Collins, 23, of Aliquippa, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him in Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.199%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

State police, Kittanning

Aug. 22 — Corrin M. Eckman, 43, of Kittanning, was charged with four counts of misdemeanor DUI and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped her on Route 422, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety test showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of methamphetamine, THC, benzoylecgonine, xylazine and fentanyl in her system. Police said an empty stamp bag was found in her vehicle.
