1 injured in motorcycle crash near North Washington rodeo grounds
A male rider has been airlifted to a hospital as a result of a motorcycle crash that occurred on Saturday evening, Sept. 16, in Washington Township.
The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, when a motorcycle crashed into an embankment near the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department’s rodeo grounds, fire officials said. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash and the rider of the motorcycle is reported to be the only person involved.
Units from both the North Washington and Eau Claire volunteer fire departments arrived to assist, with Eau Claire helping set up the landing zone for the helicopter.
State police are investigating the incident.
