Jamieson 65th anniversary
The Rev. William and Jennie Jamieson, of Zelienople, celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner.
Jamieson married the former Jennie Higgins on Sept. 13, 1958, in Mapleton, Maine.
They have two children, Laurel Lohrey, of Northfield Center, Ohio, and Benjamin Jamieson, of Butler Township.
They also have three grandchildren.
Jamieson retired from Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City, where he was the minister.
He was active with the Beaver/Butler Presbytery.
He enjoys collecting coins and served as coach of his grandson’s basketball team after retirement.
Mrs. Jamieson retired from St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, where she was a nurse.
They attended Covenant United Presbyterian Church in Butler and now attend services at Passavant Retirement Community, where they reside.
