Knoch welcomes Stapchuck as new buildings director
The Knoch School District officially approved the hiring of new director of buildings and grounds, Ken Stapchuck, at its monthly school board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
Stapchuck is being promoted from within, as he previously served as a school police officer. Prior to this, he spent six years as a general contractor. He and his family are familiar with the district, as they have lived there for 28 years and both of their children are graduates of Knoch High School.
In his new role, Stapchuck will assist with the looming renovation of Knoch High School, while overseeing the maintenance and repair of school property.
