Multi-vehicle crash backs up traffic on 228

Multiple emergency crews responded Saturday afternoon, Sept. 16, to a multi-vehicle crash near the intersection of Route 228 and Adams Ridge Boulevard in Adams Township.

Two vehicles were towed away from the scene of the crash. Both sustained heavy front-end damage. It is unknown how many occupants were in each car or whether anyone was injured.

Traffic was backed up in the area for a period of time but has since reopened.

Units from the Adams Area Fire District and Callery Volunteer Fire Company responded to the incident.
