SRU cross country sweeps PSAC honors

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University runners Anna Igims and Joseph Cintavey have been named PSAC Women’s and Men’s Cross Country Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Igims was the top non-Division 1 finisher at the RMU Colonial Invitational, placing fifth overall with a time of 18 minutes, 1 second. Cintavey placed second overall in the men’s race, covering the 8,000-meter course in 24:27.
