The Moniteau Warriors and Karns City Gremlins put their rivalry aside after Friday night’s game as they came together to pray for Karns City’s injured quarterback, Mason Martin.

Mason, a senior at Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School, was injured during a game against Redbank Valley on Sept. 1 and taken by medical helicopter to be treated for a brain bleed and a collapsed lung.

He has yet to regain consciousness since collapsing, but his father recently indicated the teen was showing signs of progress.
