A Jefferson Township man who was reported missing on Saturday, Sept. 23, has been found dead in Allegheny County, state police announced Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Richard William Rhine, 56, had reportedly been last seen at a residence on Bonniebrook Road in Jefferson Township on Sept. 23, and information received by state police about Rhine suggested that he might have been in the area of the RIDC Industrial Park in Allegheny County.

Trooper Bertha Cazy said no foul play is suspected in the death of Rhine.

The initial report by state police said Rhine could have been endangered while missing.
