Godfrey Ferry III, 62, of Butler, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2023.

He was born in Butler on March 18, 1961, and was the son to the late Godfrey Jr. and Rose (Stanko) Ferry.

Godfrey spent his life working as a drywall finisher and painter. He was known to be a great worker and a loving brother who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. While he had a career in painting, Godfrey also had a passion for fine-art painting in his spare time and loved the work of Bob Ross. He was also an animal lover and enjoyed fishing. He was loved and will be forever missed.

Godfrey is survived by his children, Tiffany, Sammi, Skye, Anna, Tasha and Michael; his siblings, Jerry (Lori) Southworth, Patty (Dane) Watson, Mary (Chris) Hicks, Fran Ferry and Theresa Reges; and numerous grandchildren. He also is survived by his previous wives, Claudine Bopp and Sherri Reges.

FERRY — Services for Godfrey Ferry III, who died Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
