A Butler man was accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl over a period of seven months, according to Butler Township police.

Caydon Claypoole, 20, was charged Monday, Oct. 2, with two counts of misdemeanor indecent assault following an interview with the girl at the Child Advocacy Center.

The girl disclosed that from January to July 2022, Claypoole would pin her down by her wrists and touch her inappropriately in several places on her body, police said.

Claypoole’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled
