Knoch’s featured twirler performs at national competition

Lindsay Mack, 17, a Knoch High School junior and the marching band’s featured twirler for the past two years, participated in the National Junior Miss Majorette of America and National Majorette contest in July at the University of Notre Dame.

Lindsay qualified to participate in the contest by placing in the top three at the Pennsylvania State Twirling Competition of the National Baton Twirling Association in April at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Lindsay also competed in and won the World Open Intermediate Two and Open Three Baton championships in her age category.

She has been twirling baton since age 8. She competes in baton both locally and regionally throughout the year.

She is the daughter of Tom and Colleen Mack of Penn Township.
