Mental health highlight of Wednesday remembrance rally
The Grapevine Center will hold a rally to remember members who died over the last year, with a mission to also bring awareness about mental illness and drug and alcohol issues in Butler County.
The Remembrance and Celebration of Life rally will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park. The featured speaker will be Tyrone Smith, who will share his story of struggling with mental illness, and a panel from the Grapevine Center will talk about the current state of mental health as seen from their perspectives.
Butler County Commissioner Kim Geyer will also speak.
