Living Independence for the Elderly Butler County will be holding its 15th anniversary event from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 231 W. Diamond St. in Butler.

Also known as LIFE Butler County, the group serves the community by offering hope and support for older adults, empowering them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

The anniversary event will include live music, cake, refreshments as well as tours of the center as a way to recognize the organization’s staff and their achievements.

“We remain committed to our mission of empowering seniors to live independently and will continue to innovate and expand our services to meet the evolving needs of our community,” LIFE executive director Leslie Kisow said.
