Chicora post office carrier accused of stealing cash from mail
A Butler woman was charged for allegedly stealing cash from mail while she worked a rural postal carrier in Chicora.
Kelly Randolph, 44, was charged with violating federal postal laws following the alleged April 18 incident when she took cash from an envelope that was intended to sent through the mail while she worked as a rural carrier in the Chicora Post Office, according to U.S. Attorney Eric Olshan.
She faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General conducted the investigation leading to the Indictment in this case.
