At its Give Back event, Eva Bryn Shoetique in Zelienople, raised over $18,550 for shoes which were donated to the Victim Outreach Intervention Center or VOICe of Butler.

The event, held at its 117 S. Main St. location on Saturday, Sept. 30, collected enough to donate 106 pairs of new shoes, according to Kelly Carney, Eva Bryn Shoetique owner.

“I am so incredibly proud of the support of our community,” Carney said. “We were thrilled with the turnout and so many locals are aware of VOICe so it meant something.”

Carney said the fact that October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month made the event “extra special.”

Eva Bryn Shoetique hosts events like this regularly. Carney said last year the business donated $1,250 to Seneca Valley’s No Cost to Shop Store.
