The following defendants were sentenced Thursday, Oct. 19 in Butler County Common Pleas Court.
Robert Harding Vanscoy, 50, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 10 days to 12 months in the county prison, but was immediately placed on parole for 12 months and will serve 12 months of probation following his release from parole. A jury in August found Vanosky guilty of terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person; charges that Butler Township police filed alleging he pushed a woman from a moving vehicle on Sept. 1, 2018. Vanscoy was found not guilty of aggravated assault and harassment.
Brittany Beatty Austel, 27, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 11 months and 15 days to 23 months in the county prison followed by 24 months of probation after pleading to a felony escape charge filed by county detectives following a Feb. 20, 2022, incident in Butler in which she cut off an electronic monitoring anklet she was ordered by the court to wear for a probation violation.
William Everett Evans, 44, of Saxonburg, was sentenced to serve 10 days to 12 months in county prison followed by 3 to 12 months of probation, complete 25 hours of community service and pay $1,880 in restitution after pleading guilty to a theft charge filed by state police following a Nov. 26, 2021, incident in Center Township.
William Frederick Claypool, 31, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to serve 12 to 84 months in county prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 12 months on house arrest, pay fines totaling $4,200 and complete litter pickup after pleading guilty to his second and third driving under the influence of a controlled substance offenses filed by state police following Nov. 5, 2019 and Dec. 31, 2019, incidents in Butler.
Ryan Anthony Cetti, 40, of Fair Oaks, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 12 months of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and litter pickup after pleading guilty to his second DUI offense filed by Jackson Township police following an Aug. 14, 2021, incident.
Kristen L. Hall, 52, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve six months of probation and restitution totaling $2,230 after pleading guilty to criminal mischief and defiant trespass charges filed in three cases by Cranberry Township and Butler city police.
Michael George Weber, 44, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation including 45 days of house arrest and pay fines totaling $4,000 after pleading guilty to his first and second DUI offenses, two counts of driving with a suspended license, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia in three cases filed by state police and Butler police.
Pamela S. Chesonis, 58, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a fine and complete 25 hours of community service and litter pickup after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by state police following a Nov. 11, 2022, crash in Washington Township.
Matthew John Sartori, 36, of Butler, was sentenced to serve up to 23 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 90 days of house arrest and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to simple assault and public drunkenness charges filed by Butler Township police following a March 28 incident.
Richard James Ealy, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison followed by six months of probation, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and litter pickup after pleading guilty to a driving under the influence of a controlled substance charge filed by state police following a March 21 incident in Butler.
Seth Richard Legrand, 43, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation, pay a $300 fine and complete litter pickup after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by state police following a Sept. 7, 2022, incident in Summit Township.
Chelsea Lynn Heckert, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay $12,891 in restitution to the state after pleading to food stamp fraud and possession of drug paraphernalia charges filed by the state Inspector General’s office and state police following separate incidents.
Dylan Kunkle, 22, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation and pay $16,847 in restitution to Manheim Pittsburgh auto auction of Cranberry Township after pleading guilty to a charge of theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a May 1, 2022, incident in Jackson Township.
Nicholas William Gentry, 27, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve 48 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of endangering the welfare of children filed by Butler Township police following an April 20, 2022, incident.
Nathan Glenn Sommers, 41, of Harrisville, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and complete 10 hours of community service after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia filed in separate cases by state police.
Kevin Lamar Somerville, 20, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including six months of house arrest after pleading guilty to terroristic threats and simple assault charges and a felony charge of retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a Jan. 19, 2022, incident.
Terry Dean McClimans Jr., 38, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six to 18 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve six months of house arrest after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by state police following a Feb. 16 incident in Mars.
Lance Alan Flowers, 34, of Butler, was sentenced to serve nine months of probation and pay $200 in fines after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance filed in separate cases by county detectives and Butler city police.
Patricia Ann Williams, 49, of McKees Rocks, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation and pay $62 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to a retail theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police following a Feb. 12 incident.
