This is the second time a pedestrian has been struck by a train this month. In the early hours of Oct. 4, a man died after being struck by a train near the 200 block of South Monroe Street. The man was later identified as Douglas Fudoli, 54, of Butler Township.
The Butler County coroner said Fudoli’s cause of death was ruled as blunt force trauma to the head, neck and trunk.
