World renowned violinist to play next Butler Symphony concert
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra continues its celebratory 75th anniversary season at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 with classical pieces by Brahms, Strauss and Debussy.
The featured artist will be world-acclaimed violinist Sirena Huang, the gold medalist in the 11th Quadrennial International Violin Competition in Indianapolis.
Since her debut with the National Taiwan Symphony in 2004 at age 9, Huang has performed across 17 countries and played as the featured soloist with more than 50 ensembles, including the New York Philharmonic.
In 2006, Huang played for 30 Nobel Prize laureates at the World Peace Conference in Petra, Jordan.
Moon Doh, the associate conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, will be the evening’s guest conductor.
Presale tickets, which are $30 for adults and $10 for children and students, are available at butlersymphony.org.
Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the performance for $35 for adults and $12 for children and students.
