Butler family, business receive Helen Keller awards
The Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong announced this year's Helen Keller Award winners: Karen, Kevin, Bill and Jeff O’Donnell and Butler Coffee Lab. They were honored at the 33rd annual Harvest Moon Charity Dance on Friday, Oct. 27.
A news release said the O’Donnell family has been supportive of the nonprofit community in Butler with their time, talents and finances.
Butler Coffee Lab founders Terry Kaiserman and Nadine Tripodi were recognized at the ceremony for their philanthropic support of the nonprofit community and their mission to employ individuals who have a disability. They took their passion for coffee and created an opportunity to employ and empower individuals who have a disability, the news release said.
The Blind Association also named Paul Wulff as its 2023 employee of the year, citing his innovation and dedication of 12 years of service at Out of Sight Shredding.
