Czapski

Michael Czapski, 63, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023.

He was born in Pittsburgh on May 2, 1960, to the late Charles and Dolores (Janowski) Czapski.

After graduating from Butler County Community College, Michael worked as a USPS contractor for more than thirty years. He was known for being outgoing, funny and a great builder. Michael raised and showed rabbits. He was a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and American Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club of Greater Pittsburgh. Michael also coached girls softball. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially of the Steelers.

Michael was the beloved husband of Wendy (Potochny) Czapski since their marriage on April 10, 1981, and father of two girls. He also is survived by two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

CZAPSKI — Services for Michael Czapski, who died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
