Hundreds of grams of cocaine and fentanyl were found by state police in a city home Wednesday morning, Nov. 1, and three people were charged with drug sales following the bust.

State police charged Brittany L.N. Irvin, 32, of Monroeville, Charles J. Young Jr., 41, and Mausee Brown, 45, both of Sacramento, Calif., early Wednesday after a search warrant was executed on a Walker Avenue home.

Irvin was charged with three counts each of felony drug sales and misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Young was charged with one count of drug sales and four misdemeanors use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown was charged with four felonies, including drug sales and prohibited possession of a firearm, and four misdemeanor of use and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to documents, Young, Brown and Irvin were found near an extensive amount of paraphernalia during the 6 a.m. search.

Police said a half pound of marijuana, a digital scale and four grams of suspected crack cocaine were found next to Young.

Near Brown and Irvin’s bed, police said they found 67 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 40 grams of an unknown white powder, 14 bricks of suspected heroin/fentanyl, a loaded revolver and a book back containing 267 grams of suspected cocaine, a Beretta handgun with obliterated serial numbers and ammunition.

A “brick” amounts to 50 stamp bags, meaning there were 700 bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl.

Young’s preliminary hearing was scheduled Nov. 13, Irvin’s was scheduled Dec. 7, and Brown’s has not yet been scheduled.
