Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday, Nov. 2, in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Timothy McCune.

Tony Reid Koegler, 28, of Bruin, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 15 months of house arrest, pay fines totaling $5,000 and complete litter pickup and 80 hours of community service after pleading guilty to two charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, his second and third DUI offenses, and driving with a suspended license. State police filed both complaints following incidents on March 4, 2022, and March 7, 2022, in Bruin.

Charles Hogan McCarren, 39, of Franklin, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay a $2,500 fine and complete litter pickup and 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, his second DUI offense, filed by state police following a May 15 incident in Butler.

Ryan Willoughby Schaub, 29, of New Brighton, Beaver County, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation including 90 days of house arrest after pleading guilty to a charge of endangering the welfare of a child filed by Cranberry Township police following am Oct. 1, 2022, incident.

Joshua Michael McElhinny, 34, of Freedom, was sentenced to serve six months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property filed by Cranberry Township police following a Feb. 1 incident.

Daniel Francis Tykarski, 27, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 20 days to six months in the county prison, but was immediately paroled and ordered to complete 25 hours of community service and the retail theft offender program and to obtain a general educational development diploma after pleading guilty to a retail theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police following an April 4 incident.

Rosselyn Michelle Brace, 53, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but was immediately paroled and ordered to pay a total of $324 in restitution after pleading guilty to two retail theft charges filed by city of Butler police and state police following separate incidents.
