Spingola, Jackson
Kathryn Rebecca Spingola, of Fairfax, Va., and Nicholas Dirk Jackson, of Frederick, Md., were united in marriage May 28, 2023 at The Atrium in Franklin Township. The Rev. Verna Call officiated. A reception followed at the The Atrium.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Charles Spingola and Dr. Kathy Schweikart-Spingola, of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas and Susan Jackson, of Frederick, Md.
The bride’s matrons of honor were Maggie Spingola, of Zelienople, and Elizabeth Spingola, of Alexandria, Va. The bridesmaid was Kate Jackson, of Baltimore.
Performing the duties of best man was Eric Looney, of Frederick, Md. Ushers included Wellie Fox of Zelienople and Alex Cooke, of Reston, Va.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Butler High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Gannon University in 2015 and her master’s in 2016.
She completed an orthopedic residency at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill.
She is employed as a physician assistant at the Centers for Advanced Orthopedics in Manassas, Va.
The bridegroom graduated from Urbana High School in Urbana, Md. in 2010, and the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2014.
He is employed as an engineer at RK&K in Fairfax, Va.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Fairfax.
