Timeline follows path of nurse linked to 10 Butler County deaths
Heather Pressdee, a registered nurse, was employed at 12 facilities across Butler, Allegheny, Armstrong and Westmoreland County from 2018 to 2023.
Between charges filed in May and November, she is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of criminal homicide, one count of criminal attempted homicide, 17 counts of attempted murder and 22 counts of neglect of a care-dependent person.
Her case is assigned to Butler County Common Pleas Court Judge Maura Palumbi.
Pressdee has been in Butler County Prison without bail since May 24.
“Pressdee often took steps to ensure her victims would expire prior to shift change so that they wouldn’t be sent to the hospital where her scheme could be discovered through medical testing,” investigating agents said in charging documents.
