Matthew Perry’s funeral attended by ‘Friends’ co-stars and close family

Matthew Perry

Matthew Perry’s funeral took place in Los Angeles and was attended by his “Friends” family Friday, just under a week after his sudden death.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc were present to lay the five-time Emmy nominee, 54, to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, not far from where the show filmed at Warner Bros. Studios, Entertainment Tonight reports.

The five former co-stars, who have remained close off-screen, released a joint statement earlier this week to say they “were all so utterly devastated” by Perry’s death.

“We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” they said. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

Also on Friday, the Matthew Perry Foundation was launched to help those struggling with addiction, as the beloved actor had.

Perry was alone when paramedics found him dead in his hot tub last Saturday, after he’d played pickleball and sent his assistant on errands.

Those close to Perry have made clear he was sober and in a great place mentally in the days and weeks preceding his sudden passing.

Last year, while promoting his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” Perry said he didn’t want his “Friends” role as Chandler Bing to dominate his legacy.

“I want helping others to be the first thing that’s mentioned,” he told Q with Tom Power last November. “And I’m going to live the rest of my life proving that.”

Authorities did not find any narcotics at Perry’s residence, but they did find prescription anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications, as well as medication for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which affects breathing.

Preliminary tests show that neither fentanyl nor methamphetamine were found in Perry’s system. His official cause of death is pending a full toxicology report, which is expected to take between six weeks and six months.

Kourtney Kardashian, left, and Travis Barker

And baby makes seven. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have welcomed their first child together — their seventh all told — on the heels of the Blink-182 drummer teasing their baby boy’s name.

Sources confirmed to People that the couple had welcomed the latest addition to their blended family.

On Monday’s episode of the “One Life One Chance” podcast, the 47-year-old Barker shared that he and the reality star, 44, planned to name the child Rocky. He also noted at the time that the little one was due “either Halloween or like the first week of November.”

Kardashian was hospitalized in September when she had to undergo urgent fetal surgery , prompting Barker to ditch Blink-182’s European tour for what the band described as an “urgent family matter.”

“I will forever be grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life ,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram at the time. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.”

Noting that she’d “had three really easy pregnancies in the past,” Kardashian shared that she “wasn’t prepared for the fear” of the medical emergency.

“I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant,” she wrote.

Kardashian already shares three children — Reign, 8, Penelope, 11, and Mason, 13 — with Scott Disick, with whom she had an on-off relationship.

Barker, through his former marriage to Shanna Moakler, was also a parent of three before he and Kardashian tied the knot last year. The exes share Alabama, 17, and Landon, 20, while Barker is also stepdad to Atiana De La Hoya, 24.

Al Pacino

Al Pacino’s bank account is taking some heat when it comes to supporting the octogenarian’s infant son.

The 83-year-old Oscar winner, who welcomed son Roman with Noor Alfallah earlier this year, will have to pay a “base” of $30,000 each month to the 29-year-old mom, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight.

The “Heat” star also has to pay $110,000 upfront to Alfallah — to whom he’s been linked since spring 2022. Depending on how much he makes this year, might have to pay an additional $90,000 come year’s end.

Pacino must contribute an annual installment of $15,000 to their 4-month-old son’s education fund as well, per ET.

The “Scent of a Woman” star, who said he’ll cover up to $20,000 of Alfallah’s legal fees, must also shoulder the entirety of any medical costs that insurance doesn’t cover.

Despite Alfallah having filed for full physical custody in September — and the pair coming to an agreement last month, which includes visitation schedules — a representative for Pacino told ET that the two “are together.”

Stan Rosenfeld, who spoke to the outlet in October, said the motivation behind Alfallah’s filing “is a question for Noor.”

“Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child Roman,” he said at the time.

Pacino has three more kids: daughter Julie, 33, with ex Jan Tarrant; and 22-year-old twins Olivia and Anton with Beverly D’Angelo.

News that Pacino was becoming a father again — at an age more likely for welcoming grandchildren — surfaced in late May, in near-conjunction with similar news for his “Heat” and “The Irishman” co-star Robert De Niro.

In April, the “Killers of the Flower Moon” star, 80, welcomed his seventh child, baby girl Virginia, with girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
