Audubon Society to host summit Dec. 7 in Sarver
The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania, in cooperation with the Buffalo Creek Coalition, will host the Buffalo Creek Confluence summit at Sarver’s Buffalo Creek Nature Park on Thursday, Dec. 7.
The theme of the summit is improving water quality, communities and habitat in the region. The keynote speakers will be Mary Ellen Ramage, borough manager for Etna in Allegheny County, and John Dawes, executive director for the Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds.
The summit is open to the public to attend both in-person and online. There is no charge to attend online. The cost to attend in-person is $20, which includes breakfast and lunch. Registration begins at 8 am and the event runs until 4 pm.
The Buffalo Creek Nature Park is at 154 Monroe Road in Buffalo Township.
