A state police trooper from the Butler barracks is among 86 state law enforcement officers receiving “2023 DUI Top Gun” awards for enforcing driving under the influence laws last year.

Trooper Philip Treadway, of Troop D in Butler, is among 60 troopers and 26 municipal officers who will receive the awards Thursday from the Pennsylvania Driving Under the Influence Association for their part in removing 4,584 impaired drivers from Pennsylvania roads last year.
