The Spirit of Christmas parade will take Main Street in Butler starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25.

The parade will feature entries from businesses, nonprofits, teams, clubs, civic groups, churches, schools, co-workers, youth groups, and friends and neighbors.

The theme for the parade this year is the “Sights & Sounds of Christmas.” Parade entries and floats have been encouraged to use the theme as the basis of their design, according to the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau.

There will also be children’s activities in the Peoples Gas parking lot from 2 to 5 p.m., which include face-painting, balloon art, and scratch and win cards.

The parade will go on no matter what the weather is, so guests are encouraged to dress accordingly.
