This November, Thanksgiving was recognized with turkey giveaways, free meals for the community and parades intended to mimic the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
County residents each celebrated what they were thankful for in their own way. Many youths shared the joy of the holiday season with their creativity — brightening their parents’ and teachers’ day.
Others, grateful for abundance, gave their time and resources to ensure others had food for their tables.
Here is a look back at the week’s activities.
