State police seeking driver, vehicle involved in Jefferson Township crash

State police are requesting the public’s help locating a stolen vehicle and its driver, who was involved in a hit-and-run crash Monday, Nov. 27.

Trooper Bertha Cazy, public information officer for Troop D, Butler, said the stolen white 2015 Buick Verano was involved in a crash around 8 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Bonniebrook and Great Belt roads in Jefferson Township.

State police did not release details of the crash or if anyone was injured.

The driver was identified as Donovan M. Philpot, according to Cazy. Philopot is described as a Black male standing 6 feet tall and clean-shaven. She added that he was last seen wearing a zip-up hoodie with a Jamaican flag on it.
