Sentence Court

The following defendants were sentenced Tuesday, Nov. 28, in Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley Streib.

Dustin Blake Crawford, 31, of Sarver, was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to one year and 11 months in county prison followed by 60 months of probation after pleading guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault filed by Butler Township police following an Oct. 5, 2022, incident on Germaine Road.

Christopher Lee Perovich, 39, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve a total of 48 months of probation and ordered to have no contact with the victim, not be present at 1 Elm Court in Butler and continue mental health treatment after pleading guilty to trespassing and loitering charges Butler city police filed in five cases from July 2022 to February 2023.

Brett Douglas Charlier, 32, of Ellwood City, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle filed by state police following a Dec. 22, 2021, incident in Connoquenessing Township.

Denis S. Ward, 32, of Freedom, was sentenced to serve six months of probation and pay a $25 fine after pleading guilty to a disorderly conduct charge filed by Butler city police following an Oct. 11, 2022, incident.

Richard A. Schmidt, 64, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, pay a $1,000 fine and complete eight hours of litter pickup after pleading guilty to a driving under the influence charge filed by Butler city police following a Feb. 28 incident.

Bradley Daniel Kradel, 40, of Chicora, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 21 days of house arrest, pay a $300 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a July 1 incident in Oakland Township.

Donald J. Hawryliak, 57, of Boyers, was sentenced to serve six months of probation and pay a $300 fine after pleading guilty to a DUI charge filed by Slippery Rock police following a March 7, 2022, incident.

Adam J. Flick, 46, of Cabot, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including six months of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI, his second DUI offense, filed by state police following a Nov. 11, 2022, incident in Jefferson Township.
