State police investigating mailbox thefts in Prospect
State police are investigating a series of thefts from mailboxes that occurred Saturday in Prospect.
According to police, mailboxes on North and South Franklin Street were opened by an unknown individual between 5 and 8 p.m. The person opened packages and discarded the packaging along the side of the road.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to contact the state police Butler barracks at 724-284-8100.
