Seven Fields makes agreement with Northern Regional police
Seven Fields Borough council is poised to approve an agreement with Northern Regional Police Department to start patrols in 2024, according to officials.
Tom Smith, borough manager, confirmed that the agreement will be discussed at Monday’s borough meeting.
A mailer sent to Seven Fields residents Saturday, Dec. 9, stated that the operational partnership with Northern Regional follows “more than a year of analysis and negotiation by the Borough Council, the Mayor and the Borough Manager.”
Northern Regional Police Department employs 43 officers and covers four other municipalities including Pine, Marshall and Richland townships and Bradford Woods in Allegheny County, according to its website.
