Bruce Wiegand

Wiegand

Bruce R. Wiegand slipped into the arms of our heavenly father on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023.

He was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Butler. He was a Member of Cabot Zion Methodist Church. Bruce graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in psychology. Bruce had a very successful career as a fraud investigator at PNB/PNC Bank for 48 years.

While working at the bank, he met the love of his life, Barb, and they married in 1992. They relied on each other for everything and that did not change through the years. Barb had cared for Bruce and been at his bedside throughout this terrible disease. Bruce had a warm and loving spirit and all that knew him loved him. He loved his cars and took special pride in a 1968 Roadrunner he bought as his first car. He also enjoyed owning a beautiful Mustang over the years.

Bruce was preceded in death by and reunited with his parents, Lavada and Albert.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barb; his brother that he was very close to, Dean, and his wife, Judy; his niece, Jessica Wiegand Troutman of North Carolina; and nephew, Jordan Wiegand of Chesapeake, Va.; as well as many other nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors that loved and cared for him deeply. He will be missed.
