It is with great sadness that we honor the passing of Charles F. M. Burgh Jr., who was born Oct. 11, 1949, the son to Charles F. M. Burgh Sr. and Marie (Plesniak) Burgh. He died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, after a brief illness.

After the birth of four daughters, he was the first son to come into the family. Chuck grew up in Middle Lancaster, Pa., and attended Seneca Valley High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was married to Carolyn (Elliott) Burgh for 53 years. Chuck enjoyed his father's junkyard and spent many years as a long haul trucker while winning many safe driving awards.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two granddaughters, Jordin and Samantha; his sister, Barbara Burgh; his brother, John Burgh; along with many nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Caryn.

BURGH — A family memorial service for Charles F. M. Burgh Jr., who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Harmony, Middle Lancaster, Pa.
