One person was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries following a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon, Dec. 21, along South Main Street in Chicora.

Multiple injuries were reported in the crash in which one vehicle had reportedly rolled over at about 2 p.m., according to scanner traffic. The crash involved four patients, Chief Cody Craig of Chicora Volunteer Fire Department said Thursday evening. Craig said three refused medical evaluation.

Following the crash, Craig said the first responders closed the eastbound lane. Clearing the scene took about an hour to an hour and a half, he said. State police are investigating.

Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, Karns City Regional Ambulance Service, Butler Ambulance Service Company and state police also responded, Craig said.
