C. Bruce Baker

C. Bruce Baker, 80, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at Chicora Medical Center.

He was born on July 20, 1944, in Butler, to the late Clifford N. Baker and Eleanor M. (Dunbar) Baker.

He graduated from Butler Area High School in 1964. Bruce was Presbyterian by faith and was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church before its closing. In his earlier years, he was the custodian for Calvary Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one brother-in-law, Robert F. Campbell; three nieces, Susan (John) Lichacz, Karen (Jim) Harpel and Amy Swigart; two nephews, David Campbell and Bruce Campbell; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Swigart and Marian Campbell; and one nephew, Joel Swigart.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Quality of Life Services in Chicora.

BAKER — All services for C. Bruce Baker, who died Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, will be held privately per family wishes.

Bruce will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Prospect.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity or organization of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
