Freeport girls dominate Valley
Lilly Holloway scored 13 points and Tessa Keller added another dozen as Freeport defeated Valley, 47-4, at the St. Joseph Tournament Saturday.
The Yellowjackets (4-6) limited the Vikings to one bucket in each half in an impressive defensive performance.

North Catholic had four pour in double-figures on the scoreboard Saturday, but still fell short to Chaminade (N.Y.), 81-76, at the Governors Challenge at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Jason Fredericks paced the Trojans (4-5) with 16 points, while Willis Kontul had 16 — including four three-pointers. Jude Rottman had 12 points and Owen Maddalon added 11.
North Catholic fell behind by as many as 13 points in the first half before clawing back to a second-half advantage. The Trojans had possession with a chance to tie it up with 14 seconds left, but couldn’t convert.
