Jason Hunt

Hunt

Jason M. Hunt, 42, of Cranberry Township, passed away suddenly in his sleep on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023. Born Sept. 10, 1981, Jason was the beloved son of Joseph Hunt and Eva “Sonia” Berg, and beloved grandson of the late Eugene and Virginia Hunt and Eva Olga Savol.

Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his only brother, Ian Hunt; and many uncles, aunts and nephews and nieces. Jason will be missed dearly by Ian and his father, Joseph Hunt. He will also be deeply missed by his many uncles, aunts, and cousins: Mary, Gary and Maristel, Tim and Leslie, Terry and Marion, Kathleen and Jack, Gene and Margie, Ann and Mike, Patty and Binny, Andrew and Ann and Virginia. His many first cousins are: Kim, Jeff, Brian, Sean, Hunter, Eugene III, Emily, Tim, Aaron, Adam, Michael, Justin, Terra, Colin, Ryan and Darren. He also had many second and even third generation cousins and enjoyed time with all of them.

Jason had an extremely charismatic personality and many close and loyal friends, who will deeply feel his loss. Jason was an enthusiastic fan of golfing, the Steelers and loved to camp and fish. He had a great deal of experience in restaurant management and he also loved to cook. Jason’s dream was to own his own restaurant. He was in the process of renovating the old Perrytowne Bar and was planning to open it as the Perrytown Tap House. Jason was weeks away from achieving his dream. Jason, Jason’s dad, and many family and friends, have been diligently working toward realizing his dream — a testament to the love of his family and friends.
