Butler to host Can-Am Police-Fire Games
Butler County will host the biennial Can-Am Police-Fire games from July 15 to 21. The Olympic-style event will include first responders from the United States and Canada.
Competitors will participate in more than 50 Olympic-style events at more than 18 venues across the county, according to the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau.
“We are thrilled to welcome participants and their families to Butler County for the Can-Am Police-Fire Games,” said Jack Cohen, president of the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau. “This event not only highlights the incredible skills of our first responders but also provides an opportunity for our community to showcase the warm hospitality and unique experiences that Butler County has to offer.”
The net proceeds of the games will benefit the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. Registration is open, and can be completed at butlercanam2024.com.
