Cranberry Township to open shelter rentals on Jan. 8
Cranberry Township announced that it will be taking reservations for their community shelters starting on Jan. 8.
The pavilions, which vary in size, are often used for graduations, birthday parties or a simple get-together, according to the township’s website. Residents can rent out a shelter on an hourly rate starting at $20 an hour.
Residents can choose between shelters at the Community Park, located on Route 19 and the North Boundary park. The shelters seat between 48 to 112 people.
Shelters are equipped with electrical outlets, charcoal grill and picnic tables. Access to Wi-Fi during park hours is free.
Full payments must be made to reserve a shelter and no refunds will be issued after May 1.
